ACE CAFE LONDON - SOUTHEND SHAKEDOWN

Monday 5th April - Depart Cafe: 10.30am - Route: A406 - A12 - A127 to Southend Seafront.

The 12th annual Easter Bank Holiday Ride-Out from the cafe to Southend Seafront, is a free to the public event, and is viewed as the first major ride-out of the season, making it hugely popular not only with motorcyclists and scooterists alike, but also with the residents and holiday visitors to Southend.

The Southend Shakedown, being at Easter with its tradition of giving, and with the support of Southend Council, always includes a charity aspect focusing on children.  This year, Easter Monday 5th April, Ace Cafe London is again supporting the NSPCC, we hope that you will too.

JAWA / CZ OWNERS & FRIENDS 2nd ANNUAL CAMPING WEEKEND
23rd - 25th April - Just in case any of you want to enjoy a great weekend in Ireland with your fellow East European Bike Fans. Weather is guaranteed to be brilliant or you get your rally entry fee back!! Guinness is also guaranteed to be the best you ever tasted.
Venue:  Parson’s Green, Clogheen, Co. Tipperary. Site Costs: Tents €6 to pitch plus €4 per person per night. Good on site facilities but there are some nice Irish pubs within a 5-10 minute stroll. Runout planned for Saturday midday covering the beautiful Knockmealdown Mountains.

The White Dove Transport Show is a well established event now in its 9th year and attracts over 400 entries, classic cars, motorcycles, commercials and military vehicles. There are numerous classes for any unique, modified or interesting bikes and vehicles, with trophies awarded to the winners.

Motorcycle ride out, Live musical entertainment, Barbecue, Club House facilities, Trade Stands & Auto jumble.

The weather for this event is always guaranteed! All proceeds go to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

THIRD EUROPEAN URAL MEET

POPHAM 2009 SIDECAR CAMPING WEEKEND

17th - 19th September - Popham Airfield, Hampshire

Directions:  The airfield lies directly on the north side of the A303 dual carriageway which runs roughly east-west about ten miles south west of Basingstoke in Hampshire. The airfield is accessed from either direction on the A303, by using the slips signed Micheldever Station & Overton. There will be sidecar signs on both slips from lunchtime Friday.

The airfield manager has allowed us access to the site again this year so come and enjoy a camping weekend with Team Grim and Popham Airfield.

Facilities:  The airfield is one of the nicest that you could wish to visit with all sorts of aircraft flying in all weekend, in 2008 the traditional Sunday fly in was as popular as ever  which made Sunday another FUN DAY. There are toilet facilities water stand pipes and the biggest field that you could wish for, with plenty of room for people to play safely without getting in the way of the camping area.  We will also have another one of Steve’s fantastic ride outs on Saturday, with BBQ’s on both Friday and Saturday night.

Additional Info: We would like to invite everybody who has an interest in Sidecars to come along and all one make clubs are most welcome.
